Descendants of the Past to Screen at 2015 Boston International Film Festival

Boston International Film FestivalDescendants of the Past, Ancestors of the Future continues its festival tour at the 2015 Boston International Film Festival. The short film will screen in Session 22 on Sunday, April 19th, at 8:30 PM at the Paramount Theatre in Boston.

The film will screen alongside The Road to Sainte-Mère-Église, written and directed by Benjamin Kramer, and A Sort of Homecoming, a feature film directed by Maria Burton (Manna from Heaven) and starring Laura Marano (Austin & Ally, The Sarah Silverman Program) and Kathleen Wilhoite (Gilmore Girls, ER).

Descendants of the Past Screens at Toronto International Short Film Festival

Toronto International Short Film Festival LogoDescendants of the Past, Ancestors of the Future will have its international premiere today at 5:30 PM at the Toronto International Short Film Festival. The film will screen alongside seven other films in Program 4 at the Carlton Cinema at 20 Carlton Street in Toronto.

Scheduled to be in attendance at the screening are the film’s writer/director/lead actor, Albert M. Chan, and the film’s lead actress, Golden Globe/Emmy/Drama Desk-nominee Tina Chen.

The short film, starring Golden Globe/Emmy/Drama Desk-nominee Tina Chen and the film’s writer-director, Albert M. Chan, will screen at the Boston Asian American Film Festival on Sunday, October 26, at 3:00 PM at the Paramount Center in Boston.

The Commitment to Be Distributed on DVD by Guest House Films

The film will appear on Guest House’s compilation, Green Briefs, which features short, gay-themed films about family life and family struggles. The compilation will be released on DVD and VOD (Video on Demand).
