7 Fluid Oz. Productions is teaming up with writer/director/actor Albert M. Chan on a new short film entitled Descendants of the Past, Ancestors of the Future. In the film, Andrew, a soon-to-be father, decides to learn more about his family history—in particular the sacrifices his grandfather made to bring his family from Asia to North America.
The Descendants of the Past, Ancestors of the Future script has already won a grant from The Puffin Foundation and has been chosen as a Finalist for the Roy W. Dean Film Grant. In addition, Albert has attached Emmy nominee Cira Felina Bolla to the project as director of photography.
As a film about family dynamics and family history, Descendants of the Past, Ancestors of the Future is a story that can touch people of all backgrounds.
