Poster: Canada International Film FestivalThe Canada International Film Festival has honored 7 Fluid Oz.’ latest production, The Commitment, with an Award of Excellence as part of their Canadian Film Competition. While 7 Fluid Oz. is a US production company, writer/director Albert M. Chan grew up in the Toronto area, qualifying The Commmitment for the competition.

This is the second time that the Canada International Film Festival has awarded a short film from 7 Fluid Oz. The first award—a 2010 Rising Star Award—went to Fate Scores, which was also written and directed by Albert M. Chan.
