The Commitment to Screen at DC Shorts Film Festival

DC Shorts Film FestivalThe DC Shorts® Film Festival will screen 7 Fluid Oz.’ short film, The Commitment, four times at the 2013 festival:

  • Saturday, September 21, at 4:30 PM
  • Monday, September 23, at 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday, September 25, at 9:00 PM
  • Saturday, September 28, at 3:00 PM

Kerri PattersonThe Commitment, written and directed by Albert M. Chan, will be represented at the festival by award-winning actress Kerri Patterson, whose performance in The Commitment earned her “Best Supporting Actress in a Short Film” from the Asians on Film Festival (Summer, 2012).

Ms. Patterson’s previous work includes the feature film Whatever Makes You Happy, in which she starred alongside The Commitment‘s Jason Lane Fenton. Whatever Makes You Happy screened at five film festivals, including the 2011 Rome International Film Festival.

The DC Shorts Film Festival, now in its 10th year, screens short films from all over the world. The 2013 festival will screen over 154 films from 23 countries. Included in this year’s festival is a collection of shorts from emerging Russian filmmakers.
