About the Kansas City LGBT Film Festival

Now in its 14th year, the Kansas City LGBT Film Festival is a major voice for LGBT issues in the Kansas City area. In addition to the yearly festival, the organization works on other LGBT-related events and initiatives. One of their recent initiatives is called OutSpoken: Stories from Kansas City’s LGBT Community. OutSpoken will be a compilation, and public reading, of stories by members of the local LGBT community.
