The Commitment Nominated for “Best LGBT Film” at Out in the Desert Film Festival

Crystal Cactus Award NomineeThe festival committee at the Out in the Desert Film Festival has nominated 7 Fluid Oz.’ newest production, The Commitment, for a Crystal Cactus Award in the category of “Best LGBT Film.” The Commitment, written and directed by Albert M. Chan, is a dramatic short film that tells the story of an interracial gay couple’s attempt to adopt a baby.

The film will screen at the Out in the Desert Film Festival on Friday, January 25th, at 9:00 PM at the Fluxx Studio & Gallery in Tucson, AZ. Tickets are $8.00.

The Out in the Desert Film Festival, run by the Southwest LGBT Film Society, works to celebrate LGBT filmmakers and films that focus on the LGBT community.
