Woods Hole Film Festival to Screen The Commitment
7 Fluid Oz’ latest production, The Commitment, will screen at the 22nd Annual Woods Hole Film Festival on Thursday, August 1, 2013, at 7:00 PM at the Old Fire Station.
This event marks the first screening of any 7 Fluid Oz. film at the prestigious Woods Hole Film Festival and the third screening of The Commitment in Massachusetts.
The Commitment will screen in the “Short 08 – Unlikely Encounters” session alongside the following short films:
The Commitment Voted an Audience Favorite at the Kansas City Gay & Lesbian Film Festival
Audiences at the Kansas City Gay & Lesbian Film Festival selected The Commitment to take part in last night’s “Audience Choice” screening.
The screening included the four short films voted audience favorites from the previous “Men’s” and “Women’s” screenings.
The other three audience favorites from last night’s screening are as follows:
- Dildoa ostamassa (Finland)—directed by Eeva Putro
- Grotto (USA)—directed by Dave Scala
- Pocałunek (Poland)—directed by Filip Gieldon
Durban Gay & Lesbian Film Festival Announces Screening Times for The Commitment
The Durban Gay & Lesbian Film Festival will screen The Commitment three times over the course of the twenty-day event. The film will show on Sunday, June 16, 2013, at 4:00 PM; Wednesday, June 19, at 8:00 PM, and Saturday, June 22, at 6:30 PM. All screenings take place at the KwaZulu-Natal Society of Arts (KZNSA) Gallery.
The Commitment is part of the festival’s “Domestic Bliss” Short Film Package, which includes five other short films:
The Commitment Selected for QFest St. Louis
7 Fluid Oz.’ award-winning production, The Commitment, has been selected for this year’s QFest St. Louis. The film will screen tonight, June 8, at 8:00 PM at Webster University in the Moore Auditorium.
The Commitment will screen before Tennessee Queer, a feature film directed by Earl Goshorn. Tennessee Queer is the story of an openly gay man who returns home from New York City to make life better for LGBT youth in a small Tennessee town.
Free Screening of The Commitment at the Kansas City LGBT Film Festival
The Commitment has been selected for the 2013 Kansas City LGBT Film Festival. The main festival runs from June 20 to 27, 2013, but short-film programs run on the three consecutive Tuesdays leading up to the main festival. The Commitment will screen for free tomorrow, June 4, at 7:00 PM as part of the “Men’s Program” at the LIKEME® Lighthouse.
